Plissé (Pleated) are folds from the fashion world. I was inspired by architectural fashion designers like Issey Miyake and Hussein Chalayan, who have worked a lot with pleats and refined textile constructions. The folds in the glass create interesting effects when they refract the light, while the sand blasting creates a misty result.” The Plissé series is mouthblown at Kosta Glassworks. Each colorway is produced in an edition of 10, numbered and signed by the designer.

Lena Bergström's internationally acclaimed Plissé (Pleated) was shown for the first time in the tribute exhibition Lena 25+ at Kosta Boda Art Gallery 2021–2022. The series is mouth-blown at Kosta Glassworks. Plissé cylinder vase turquoise/clear/green is made in an edition of 10, numbered and signed by the designer.
