Kosta Boda Art Glass Monthly Story in September, Bertil Vallien’s Beans.

Kosta Boda Logo

The Kappa series is a true testament to the hands-on craft that has become synonymous with Kosta Boda. Mimmi Blomqvist’s striking design is inspired by a specific part of the glass-blowing process – a glass bubble, called kappa in Swedish – that is formed on top of the mold during the production process. The result is a distinctive contemporary homage to a glass-blowing technique that even precedes Kosta Boda’s foundation in 1742. We now extend the series with a line of mini vases – in three executions and colorways - ideal for either complementing larger Kappas or simply grabbing your attention on their own.
